How to set up custom domain name for blogspot (co.cc)

This is a guide on how to set up a custom domain name such as www.blog.mydomain.com or www.mydomain.co.cc for your blog.

See this example. (Also try typing www.dawebcat.blogspot.com in the address bar -- it is the original domain name of www.dawebcat.co.cc -- and the browser will redirect you back to www.dawebcat.co.cc so as to what the Google said: "Don't worry, your readers won't be left behind :) )

STEP 1
Go here and create a co.cc account.

STEP 2
Get a new domain and set it up.

STEP 3
On the setup page, click Zone Records.

STEP 4
Input or select the following values:
(Replace the "yourdomainname" with your domain name :D )
Host: www.yourdomainname.co.cc
TTL: 1D
TYPE: CNAME
Value: ghs.google.com

Click Set up

STEP 5
Login your blogger account and go to your dashboard > Settings > Publishing > Click Custom Domain > Click Switch to Advance Settings and enter your own domain name (co.cc) in the text box (e.g www.mydomainname.co.cc)

STEP 6
Enter verification code and SAVE Settings!


That's it! You have just successfully set a custom domain for your blog.

It may take about 1-48 hours to be updated, so be patient, watch movies, play computer games, continue planning your assassination plan for your neighbor (JK!) or something.
