What is a FAVICON?
It's a small image, either animated or still (mine is animated
), which is usually seen at the left most corner of the address bar
and/or at the left side of the window tab and before the Page Title
BLOGGER: How to change your favicon
As we all know, this is the default BLOGGER FAVICON
Follow the following steps to change your Blogger's favicon:
1. Go HERE and signup for an account (Trust me, it will be worth signing up for... "iconj.com" will host your image/favicon it will as well generate the code for you, also, NOT all image hosting sites supports images with .ico format)
2. Do all the necessary sign-up procedures and log-in to your account.
3. Browse and upload the image you want to make as your favicon
NO IMAGES available in your computer? (Click ME)
4. Click "My Favicon Code" link at the left sidebar.
5. Get the favicon's code.
6. Go to your Dashboard > Settings > Layout > Edit HTML.
7. Press CTRL+f to find the code </head>
8. Paste the favicon's just before or above the </head> code
9. Check if you have successfully changed your blogger's favicon :)
How to put favicon to your website
1. Go HERE.
2. Browse and upload the image you want to convert into .ico file. (You can see the upload function at the right sidebar of the website)
3. Download the .ico file.
4. Upload the .ico file to your website.
5. Copy and paste the code below in every pages of your website:
REPLACE THE ENTIRE RED TEXT with your .ico's directory
<link rel="shortcut icon" href="PUT THE .ICO DIRECTORY HERE(example: images/favicon.ico)" />in your <head> tag just under or after the </title> tag.
6. Checkout your website and there you have it! Your website's favicon :D

Click User Gallery and pick from tons of icons which appeals to you
Go back to step 5.
